Exploring The NORDIC REGION...
Map Page

In addition to the nations highlighted on this map, the Nordic Region also includes Greenland, the Faroe Islands, the Åland Islands, and Svalbard. Located in the North Atlantic, Greenland and the Faroes are self-governing parts of the Kingdom of Denmark. The Åland Islands, which have home rule, are part of Finland and are located to its southwest. Svalbard, which is part of the Kingdom of Norway, is an archipelago far to the north of most other Nordic countries — the "lands of the midnight sun."
